17-2-12 Monday
Today, we didn't do much in music class. We received the assessment paper from last session and i was happy because i could understand the scales and how to find them. Afterwards, Mr.John handed us a music sheet that we were supposed to play as one class in an ensemble. I wasn't really that good in reading notes but thankfully, Mr.John helped me read some notes that were difficult to read. next time, i will continue reading and playing the music sheet
13-2-12 Friday
Today, we had the assessment about the major and minor scales, as well as harmonic and melodic scales. Our task was to make the scales on the worksheet based on what scales was shown. Some scales, we should make melodic and harmonic but on the other hand, some scales we just need to make natural or minor. For the vocabulary, i only filled a little bit because i was studying for the notations and forgot about the vocab. In the end, i filled in only some of the vocabulary that i remembered.
10-2-12 Monday
Today we focused on learning and understanding the harmonic and melodic scales. At first, we got the formula on how to find and remember these scales well. When i was asked to write it on the board, i had a pretty hard time because i was very new to it but this is a good way to understand more about melodic and harmonic. afterwards, everybody had to do a scale on the board and then it was time for instrument class. Nothing new, just practicing some songs.
6-2-12 Monday
Today, we were discussing about the trips. From the arts and drama department, they were planning a trip to go to Singapore and watching the musical drama named "Wicked" and even though we were actually planning to go somewhere else, it is a big chance that we would go to Singapore. We were also told to study the vocabs and remember the meanings. next up is the Presentation

3-2-12 Friday
Today in music class, we discussed more on the music theories such as major chords, minor chords, the natural scale and the sharps. We also got a sheet about the romantic era and some vocabulary and terms that were used frequently in the era. There wasn't much time to practice so the next session i should continue working on my presentation

30-1-12 Monday
Today in music class, we discussed about the upcoming assessments which were the slideshow presentations, individual booklets and the music theory test. We were told to group ourselves into groups of 3 or 4. The topic is all about the romantic era. My group members was the one i worked with last year, Heidy and Blanka. Mr. John told me that the due date of this presentation was next week or next 2 weeks. Next session, I would continue to discuss about the slide show presentation.
